NOTE for Authors and Artists
Interested in being considered for our PAINTED STORIES series?
ARTISTS: Please send an email to nevadawriters@gmail.com and include a link to your web-site and a brief description of your work. We offer a $100 stipend to artists for time/materials and the rights to use your paintings after the event for future promotions. When we are allowed, we hold an auction at the end of each event and split the proceeds 50/50 so as an artist you not only get paid, you get your name and artwork out into the hands of art lovers too!
AUTHORS: Featured authors need to fill a 20-25 minute segment, which depending upon how fast you read is typically anywhere from 2500-3000 words. Fiction and non-fiction accepted. Check for any specified themes. We are no longer able to offer authors a stipend, but we do allow time at the end of each program for all participating authors to sign and sell copies of their books and keep 100% of their sales.
Please send your submissions as an attachment in an email to nevadawriters@gmail.com
with the Subject Line: Painted Stories Submission
Submissions open all year round.
